Terms & Conditions
Last updated October 20, 2026
Spiral Mirror is provided by Spiralflows LLC ("we", "us"). When you use Spiral Mirror, you are entering into an agreement with Spiralflows LLC. By continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms.
What Spiral Mirror is
Spiral Mirror is an educational reflection tool. It uses AI to help you separate what happened from how you interpret it, and to consider possible next responses. It is not therapy, medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and it is not a crisis service. If you are in danger, contact local emergency services.
Your account
- You must be of legal age to form a contract where you live, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
- Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse Spiral Mirror. This includes:
- using it for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful, or to send spam;
- infringing anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
- interfering with the service's security, for example with malware, probing, scraping or overloading it;
- trying to get around usage limits or payment, reverse engineering the service, or reselling it;
- using it to create illegal content, hate speech, harassment, impersonation or deepfakes, or trying to make the AI bypass its safeguards ("jailbreaking").
AI content
- You are responsible for what you enter and for how you use what the AI writes back.
- AI responses can be wrong, incomplete or not suited to your situation. Check anything important yourself. They are not a substitute for professional advice.
- You keep any rights you have in what you enter. Subject to these terms, you may use the responses you receive. You give us a limited permission to process your input only to provide the service.
- We may filter or refuse responses, remove content, or limit or suspend accounts to keep the service safe and lawful.
- If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us by email at jl@spiralflows.org and we will review it. Repeated infringement can lead to account suspension.
Ownership
Spiralflows LLC owns Spiral Mirror and its software, design, text and branding, including the Spiral language by JL Burgess. We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under your plan.
Plans, payment and cancellation
New accounts get 3 free reflections. Unlimited access is a subscription, billed monthly or yearly, that renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime, and you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, taxes, cancellations and refunds are also governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy.
Service availability
We work to keep Spiral Mirror running well, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", without implied warranties such as merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, such as lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to cover our reasonable losses from claims caused by your unlawful use of the service or your breach of these terms.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously breach these terms, don't pay, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly break our policies. You can stop using Spiral Mirror at any time. When your account ends, we delete or anonymise its data as described in our Privacy Notice.
Other terms
- We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
- You may not transfer your account without our consent. We may transfer these terms as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the state where Spiralflows LLC is registered in the United States, and disputes will be handled by the courts there, unless your local law gives you other rights.
- We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we will let you know in the app before they apply.
